I was born in Newark, NY. I lived there until I left for college in 1996.
In 1996 I enrolled at Indiana Wesleyan University. It was during my junior year that I really met Christ and decided that I was meant for full time ministry. I graduated in 2000 with a Church Music and Applied Voice major. I also met my husband, Michael Hofer at IWU and we were married in 2000. We have 2 amazing kids, Tymothy and Alexandria. I have been in ministry along with my husband, Michael, in a spouse role for over 20 years. I have been leading the Worship ministry in our Youth department wherever we have been. Just this year in 2021 I was hired as Worship Director here at Christ Community Church. I enjoy MUSIC – all of it! I also enjoy reading when I have the time. Sometimes you will even see me put on a bowling jersey and participate in tournament play. Life verse: “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.” Philippians 4:6 Favorite foods: Definitely PIZZA of any kind Favorite movie: “A Few Good Men” Hobbies, pastimes and interests: Painting, playing some volleyball sometimes, Reading, Hanging out with my cool fam. Ambitions / aspirations: To inspire and equip leaders to lead with the love of Christ. What I like to read: Mystery, Adventure novels People are surprised to know: I am really good at singing Opera.
