OUR RESPONSE AND HOW YOU CAN HELPHurricane Michael, an unprecedented Category 4 hurricane, decimated large portions of Florida and South Georgia as it ripped through the Southeast last week. Christ Community Church would like to extend a way to help those affected by the storm to our members and surrounding neighbors.
Here are a few ways that you can help: 1. Give a financial contribution: Click here and select "Disaster Relief" fund to give any amount toward supplies that our team will use to help those in need. 2. Join our response team: Christ Community Church is organizing a response team that will travel to South GA this week and begin to help clear trees and debris in the affected areas. As it stands, we need: skilled chainsaw operators with chainsaws, manual labor to remove limbs and debris, and a Bobcat and trailer or tractor with front end loader. If you're interested in joining this team or have equipment to contribute, please contact Ken Himes. 3. Pray: We ask that you continue to pray for our brother and sisters who were impacted by this storm. We believe that The Lord hears our prayers and He is mighty to save and provide for those in need! |
