Worship Ministry

Why worship?
Worship is our response to God for who He is. Worship is not about me, it's all about honoring our Great God.

"Great is the Lord and most worthy of praise..." Psalm 145

The River of Life begins with worship!

WHAT is worship?

  • 24/7 Worship is more than singing songs on Sundays. It is a way of life. We LIVE our worship everyday by our character, actions, and words.
  • Sunday Mornings Yes, our everyday lives are our truest worship, BUT it is vital for us to worship Him together. We gather for corporate worship every Sunday at 9:00 & 11:00 am.

HOW we worship?

  • Dress We are passionate about worship, so we want to free people from distractions that might keep them from experiencing God's presentce. To achieve this, we minimize the emphasis on attire and invite people to come as they are.
  • Music Our praise band leads us primarily through a contemporary style.
  • Message & Reponse Our pastors deliver challenging messages from God's Word. our services end with a time of response, either privately or publicly.
  • Communion We serve open communion every week. All who believe in Jesus (CCC members or not) are invited to take communion. Servers present bread pieces that are taken individually and dipped in the juice cup.
"Do this in remembrance of me." - Luke 22:19
  • Diverse expressions God has made us wonderfully diverse. We celebrate varied expressions of worship: standing, sitting, kneeling, raising hands, clapping, shouting, silence, dancing... We also use creative elements in our services: video, drama, dance, and more.

Eminent Worship

"Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks.". - John 4:23

Eminent Worship represents a cross-section of denominations across the Chattahochee Valley. They meet on the first Tuesday of every month. Christ Community Church strongly supports this worship activity, but it is an organized group of worship leaders that is larger than Christ Community. For more information check out their website:
