Ministries - Community Groups
Why Community Groups?
We are after God's extraordinary life! We believe this life is best experienced in small groups where authentic relationships can grow. Throughout the week, various groups of 10-13 people meet together in homes for sharing, prayer, study, and fellowship. The heart of these groups is to genuinely care for each other and encourage each other in our walk with Jesus.
A Community Group is a place of belonging where . . .
we can truly know others and be known by them;
we can share our joys and struggles, needs and resources;
we can honestly wrestle with this life of faith,
we can do life together!
"And let us consider how we may spur one another on to love and good deeds, not forsaking our meeting together which is the habit of some, but encouraging one another . . ." (Hebrews 10:24-25)
How Do I Get Connected?
1. The best place to start is to attend CONNECTIONS our one-time class that gives a
thorough overview of our CONNECT Ministry. This class is offered one or two times
each month, at 11:00 on Sundays (during our second worship service). It is in the former office at our main location (Midtown Dr). Our standard childcare is available during
this class. Just call the church office to find out when the next class is offered and
register your interest in attending. Office: 706-565-7240.
2. Click the "get connected" button below to send an email to Billy Gross - CONNECT Pastor. There are groups of various age
mixtures meeting on several different nights. He will get back to you as soon as possible to help find the group that would best suit you.
3. If you have specific questions, just give Billy a call. He will be
glad to answer any questions you may have. Office: 706-565-7240 ext. 305.
