WE BELIEVE people matter deeply to God.
God created man in His image and He longs for us to have an intimate and eternal relationship with Him.
WE BELIEVE that people are spiritually lost.
Sin has dulled our sensitivity to God and rendered us incapable of relating to an absolutely Holy Being without someone mediating between the two.
WE BELIEVE that people need Christ.
Because God is so holy, He cannot have a relationship with man because of our sin. But, because He is so very loving, God sent Jesus Christ (who is God Himself) to earth to live a perfect life and die a sacrificial death in order to pay, for us, the just penalty for our sin. In so doing, He became the only possible mediator between God and man, and the only way by which we may be saved.
WE BELIEVE that since God loves people...
We also must passionately love people and commit ourselves to reaching out, in authentic relationships, with the Great News that they can know God through Jesus Christ and spend eternity with Him in heaven.
